Othello

Shakespeares is so hard to read! I read the first part and was completely confused about what happened and had to go back and read again! It took forever to get through! But once I figured out what he was saying the story line so far isn't that bad. I think this will be one of my more favorite books besides the old English it is written in!

Notes from the Underground

Notes from the Underground was a crazy book to read. I could barely get through it at the beginning but the ending got a little better. When I went to class on Thursday I was convinced that the narrator had lost his mind and was completely insane, but as I began to talk with my group they started to change my prospective. Although the narrator definitely had his moments were he seemed to be insane I believe that this only came from the way he was raised with no family or friends. He had no idea how to act around other people and only knew hate from them, so he hated the world and thought he was better than them all. As the end drew nearer more sane moments started to occur, like his talks with Liza. In conclusion I went into class convinced of one idea and came out convinced of another.
